We're off on a hybrid travel adventure this time around. Part one will be an exploration of Tom's maternal ancestors' lives in Poland. We'll be traveling with his sister, Vicki, who has done extensive genealogical research, and her son Jamie. Tom and Vicki's brother John will complete our crew as we base ourselves in Bialystok and Warsaw.
We'll part company with the family group to travel on our own through the Baltic States -- Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania before taking a ferry across the Gulf of Finland from Tallinn, Estonia to Helsinki, Finland.
As always, we welcome your company as we chronicle our travels in this blog. Tom has (yet another) new camera, so the pictures should be worth your screen time.
